This year when new flamenco festivals are being inaugurated left and right, the pioneers of these events continue to be celebrated and reinvent themselves. New formulas for some, tried and true for others, all the organizations are scrambling to preserve and protect this classic format which brightens up Spain’s hottest months for flamenco fans.
