Throughout January and February 2014, flamenco, rock and pop, flamenco and poetry, exhibitions and other activities will be offered.
Over 50 performers have joined in for this series that includes several concerts, exhibitions, encounters and performance art. It is to be held in various places throughout Madrid, with an extension in Granada during January and February 2014, the focal point being the radio program Duendeando of Radio 3 RNE directed by Teo Sánchez and to be celebrated live from the Casa Encendida next Sunday, December 15 at 6:00pm, with free entry to capacity. There will also be a second program live from Radio 3 on Thursday, February 19th at the Sala Berlanga of the SGAE Foundation.
The program of the lengthy series is shown below. In addition to concerts, other events include “La Aurora de Morente”, a collection of works of art by Aurora Carbonell. Shortly before his death, Morente asked her not to stop painting and creating, according to Aurora herself. The exposition includes three performances within the exhibition area where she will participate along with her children, Estrella, Soleá and José Enrique, her mother Rosario Muñoz, her brothers and sisters, son-in-law, brother-iin-law and other relatives.
Another exhibit, “Enrique Morente: Donde Mana la Fuente”, by journalist and photographer Manuel Montaño, shows portraits of the maestro from 1990, reflecting his intense life and tireless creativity.
