The FFLAC is born, Festival Flamenco de Cortometrajes.

The digital magazine Deflamenco.com, in collaboration with producer Luciane Franco, have founded the FESTIVAL FLAMENCO DE CORTOMETRAJES in order to stimulate audiovisual production related to flamenco.

Created with the aim of stimulating production, artistic creation and popularization of flamenco by means of audiovisual projects.  Inscription is open from March 22nd through June 22nd, to present audiovisual work to participate in the contest, or for a parallel exhibition.

With the collaboration of the Instituto Buñuel, the SGAE and the Agencia Andaluza para el Desarrollo del Flamenco, the _FFLAC is scheduled to take place the second half of June with the exhibition of the short documentaries selected for the contest, and those selected for the parallel exhibit.

Prizes have been established for three short documentaries to be selected by the panel of judges whose members will be named and publicly made known prior to the festival.

The _FFLAC comes into existence with international aspirations via the FiFLAC (Festival Internacional Flamenco de Cortometrajes) which will make possible the exhibition of a selection of the work received to be included in other festivals and venues related to cinema and flamenco.
