Carmen «la Talegona», Argentina, Eduardo Trassierra, La Tremendita, Fuensanta La Moneta, Ana Morales… for the autumn season of 2014.
Once again this autumn, the Cajasol Foundation has presented its program for the series «Los Jueves Flamencos», a stable series that has become a fixture for flamenco fans in Seville.
During the official presentation, Pilar Lacasta, director of Acción Cultural de Cajasol, suggested the possibility that Los Jueves Flamenco might be programmed in other cities where Cajasol has a presence, such as Cádiz.
According to Manolo Herrera, coordinator of the series, the Jueves Flamencos includes an important presence of dance shows that combine cante and guitar. As in other years, the Jueves Flamencos will have a Christmas show with the traditional Zambomba Jerezana, this year under the direction of Antonio Higuero. Eduardo Trassierra is in charge of the guitar portion of the program. A popular artist who will present 'Rara Avis', a guitar recital with the collaboration of dancer Pastora Galván, and singer José Angel Carmona (30 October). The series continues with two singing programs, that of Rosario La Tremendita, con 'Fatum' (13 November) and Argentina, who is presenting 'Dicen que fue un te quiero' (20 November). Both singers are well-known in the world of flamenco. And lastly, the series includes the well-known dancer Carmen Cortés (11 December), Ana Morales, a young emerging talent who will present 'Callejón del agua' (6 November), and three dance stars: Ángel Muñoz with 'Ángel: del blanco al negro' (16 October), Fuensanta 'La Moneta', who is bringing her show 'Muy especial' (27 November) and the closing of the series will be with Carmen La Talegona.
