Not all cultural events make it to their silver anniversary, but the Jornadas Flamencas de Fuenlabrada managed it without flagging. Come March, as happens every spring in Fuenlabrada, the Tomás y Valiente Auditorium will host the 25th edition with a spectacular program to celebrate a quarter century of yearly festivals.
Performers such as Enrique Morente, Tomatito, Sara Baras, Carmen Linares, Manolo Sanlucar, Eva la Yerbabuena, La Niña de la Puebla, Diego el Cigala, José Mercé, Chano Lobato, José Menese, el Chato de la Isla, Javier Barón, Tomatito, Diego Carrasco and many others have graced this event where flamenco has been so well-represented by virtually every artist of the genre. With so many years under its belt, and so many top-notch people, the Jornadas Flamencas de Fuenlabrada has become one of the most prestigious flamenco festivals of Madrid, and without a doubt, the most important one in the southern part of the capital.
