– 12€ First Part: Projection of the documentary “Herencia Flamenca”
Director and script-writer: Michael Meert
The result of a voyage to the depths of flamenco in an excellent film
which is a pleasure to watch. Via the flamenco pop group Ketama, we are
introduced to the history, life and feelings of the Carmona family, with
Juan Carmona Habichuela and Pepe Habichuela and five generations with
their music, an explosion of art, emotion and memories with the backdrop
of Granada and its famous neighborhoods.
Second Part: “Habichuela en Rama”
Flamenco guitar in concert: PEPE HABICHUELA and
JOSEMI CARMONA with Carlos Carmona, guitar; El Bandolero, Nano
Carmona and Juan el Tallarín, percussion; Pepe Luis Carmona, cante.
The day Pepe Habichuela and José Miguel Carmona decided to once
again appear on the same stage, was without a doubt a great day for all
music-lovers. With the naturalness that only comes from raw talent, father
and son, maestro and disciple, tradition and fusion, it all blends together
as they let themselves be carried away, they talk, laugh, cry and are
moved.
When it’s not only notes, but feeling as well, when each chord
is a lament, when the guitar strips down to basics with no complexes,
then the best thing to do is relax, close your eyes and enjoy. “Habichuela
en Rama”. (Juan Bosco)
