From February 26th to March 23rd, Flamenco Festival will offer more than 70 performances at 33 theaters in 24 American cities.
Flamenco Festival is presenting its 12th edition of this event in the United States and Canada, the most ambitious and far-reaching program of its history, with over 100 artists who will perform for an estimated 80,000 people at 33 theaters in 24 cities.
The festival kicks off in Miami and Washington, D.C. and will go to 24 cities in the United States, including Nueva York, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Cleveland and Austin among others, in addition to the cities of Ottawa Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto in Canada.

Eva Yerbabuena, Israel Galván, Estrella Morente, Tomatito, Rocío Molina and Gala Flamenca with Antonio Canales, Carlos Rodríguez, Karime Amaya and Jesús Carmona are just a few of the featured artists who will travel to the most famous U.S. theaters such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the New York City Center in New York; Chicago’s Symphony Center and the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.
The total budget for this edition is 3,300,000 euros, about four and a half million U.S. dollars, of which one million euros ($1,367,000.00 U.S.) is the amount managed by the festival, while 2,300,000 euros ($3,144,000.00 U.S.) is local cost covered by the theaters.
The Festival’s main backers are the Instituto Andaluz del Flamenco and the INAEM. The Spanish Embassy in the United States, the Spanish Consulate in New York and the Cervantes Institute have also collaborated.
