MAESTROS AND YOUNG STARS Flamenco has no use for frontiers, dogma or prejudices because it is always in flux. The 2008 edition of the Nimes festival continues to follow this concept and the exploration of the art with an extensive program that includes both tested veterans and young hopefuls. In addition to talented French performers, the bill includes major artists such as Chano Lobato, Fosforito, José Antonio Rodríguez, Diego Carrasco, José Galván and Miguel Poveda, as well as up-and-coming stars like Marco Flores, Rocío Molina, David Palomar and Rafael de Utrera, among many others. The program also includes conferences, expositions and workshops, as well as children’s shows.
