Diego el Cigala and Bebo Valdés have been voted winners of the Onda award for music by the jury of Radio Barcelona of the Cadena Ser. The presentation will take place at Barcelona’s Teatre Musical on November 27th and marks the fiftieth anniversary of these awards. The organizers said the musical duo deserves the prize for having made «the most notorious work in the world of flamenco».
