The jury of the Calle de Alcalá prize annually awarded by the Festival Flamenco Caja Madrid to a flamenco artist who has carried out the bulk of his or her career in Madrid, decided the next winner would be Juan Ramírez Sarabia, known to flamenco fans as Chano Lobato.

The award consists of a sculpture by the well-known painter and sculptor
Mauricio Jiménez Larios, and is to be officially presented at the
14th edition of the Festival Flamenco Caja Madrid at the Teatro Albénez
on February 1st.
Members of the jury were José Manuel Caballero Bonald, Félix
Grande Lara, Ángel Alvarez Caballero and José Mª Velázquez-Gaztélu.
