The De Lucía brothers were «Los Chiquitos de Algeciras» in that first part of their artistic career in the 1960's, making numerous recordings for the Hispavox label which have now been collected in this new anthology.
In this project, recordings of tremendous historic value have been recuperated in which the «De Lucía» brothers demonstrated their virtuosity. Recordings which have undergone a meticulous process of restoration, remixing and remastering. The double CD includes two unpublished songs, and two versions of «Chalaura», a revolutionary record by the two brothers.
For the presentation of the record, artistic producer José Manuel Gamboa and technician Carlos Martos were both present, in addition to Pepe de Lucía, Curro Sánchez, son of Paco de Lucía, and other artists such as Carmen Linares, Serranito and Miguel Rivera at the Taberna de Manuela in Madrid.
Pepe de Lucía expressed his satisfaction at rediscovering these recordings that he hadn't heard in many years, while at the same time feeling the logical sadness of the memory of his brother Paco.
