To be celebrated in Córdoba the 14th, 15th and 16th of November
With the slogan “Flamenco, Andalusian Heritage to the World”, the Instituto Andaluz de Flamenco is organizing a new edition of the Congreso Internacional de Flamenco, with the intention of being a point of encounter for professionals, focusing the content on the nature of internationalization of flamenco, a cultural reality as well as a powerful stimulus to create employment and generate income.
The Congreso also includes the Feria de Industrias Culturales within the framework of the project Flamenco de Orilla a Orilla, with a series of activities related to education and flamenco.
This event is aimed at professionals of flamenco and the associated cultural industry, performers and professionals devoted to programming and administering cultural events in the public and private arenas. It is also intended for investigators, the university community, conservatory teachers and students, artistic agents and the general public.
The 2nd Congreso Internacional de Flamenco is one of the activities in honor of the tenth anniversary of the UNESCO Convention for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage (2003)

• 10:00 – 10:30am Institutional inauguration of the 2nd CONGRESO INTERNACIONAL DE FLAMENCO and Feria de industrias Culturales del Flamenco
• 10:30 – 11:30am Inaugural conference
• 12:00 – 2:00pm Work group: Economía de la cultura, cultura para la economía I. una aproximación a la realidad cultural internacional.
• 4:00 – 6:00pm Work group: Economía de la cultura, cultura para la economía II. Mercados Internacionales.
• 6:00 – 8:00pm Work group: Industrias Creativas del Flamenco
FRIDAY 15 NOVEMBER
• 9:00 – 11:30am Work group: Ayudas, patrocinios y mecenazgo.
• 12:00 – 2:00pm Work group: La presencia de flamenco en los medios de comunicación a escala internacional y su presencia multimedia.
• 5:00 – 6:30pm Flamenco fashion show with live music and organized with MOF & ART.
• 6:30pm Presentation/ showcases of various business with stands. Presentations will be programmed according to projects presented for the selection of exhibitors.
SATURDAY 16 NOVEMBER
• 10:00 – 12:30pm Round table discussion: “Flamencos en el Mundo”
• 12:30 – 2:00pm Round table discussion: “El mundo en el flamenco”
