Responding to the needs and demands of our artists, audiences and interested public, EESDC is hosting the second biannual symposium, The Art of Flamenco.
The two-day event will focus on learning more about flamenco history, the oral traditions of cante, the debate about its origins, the social and political history of Andalucía and the legendary flamencos themselves. Specialists from Spain will be joined by Canadian flamenco artist Esmeralda Enrique and EESDC members and will be comprised of presentations on the history of flamenco, the legacy of great artists, panel discussions, a cante class, dance workshop and films.
Deepen your understanding of flamenco through presentations, workshops, panel discussions and more.
