The Society of Performing Artists (AIE), the organization responsible for managing artists’ intellectual property rights, has announced the names of the young talents selected for the AIEnRuta Flamencos 2025 cycle. Now in its seventeenth edition, this program aims to promote and spread flamenco in unconventional venues, such as universities, offering the next generation of artists the opportunity to showcase their talent on unique stages.
The Selected Artists for 2025
An independent jury, made up of specialized journalists and representatives of cultural foundations, has chosen five outstanding artists under 30 who bring fresh energy and exceptional skill to different flamenco disciplines:

- Gabriela Giménez
- Rocío Luna
Toque (Guitar):
- Manuel Herrera
- Juan Anguita
Other Instruments:
- José Carlos Hanza Fernández
- Ángel Bocanegra
These young performers will take their art to universities and cultural venues across Madrid, Castilla y León, and Castilla-La Mancha, among other regions, throughout 2025.
A Program Supporting the Future of Flamenco
Founded in 2008, AIEnRuta Flamencos was created to support emerging flamenco artists by giving them the chance to perform in non-traditional settings, such as universities. Since then, the program has organized over thirty concerts annually, establishing itself as an essential platform for promoting flamenco among young audiences in academic environments.
As one of Spain’s most treasured cultural assets, flamenco finds in this initiative a way to remain vibrant and constantly evolving. AIE not only provides financial and logistical support to the selected artists but also manages the production and promotion of their performances, ensuring their talent reaches new audiences.
A Commitment to Both Tradition and Innovation
Flamenco is an art form that transcends borders and generations, and AIEnRuta Flamencos is a prime example of how tradition can coexist with innovation. By bringing flamenco to universities, the program not only introduces young audiences to this art form but also encourages its academic study and appreciation.
The selected 2025 artists represent the best of the new flamenco wave, with performances that blend traditional purity with fresh influences and contemporary styles. From singing to guitar playing and other instruments, these young talents prove that flamenco remains a living, evolving art form.
Upcoming Performances
Throughout 2025, the selected artists will perform at various universities and cultural venues. The exact dates and locations will be announced soon on AIE’s official website and social media channels.
